Digital Factory Model When we were developing a production environment for our platform components we out of necessity developed something we call the digital factory model. This model allows us to utilize in house code libraries to support a massively parrallel development process that is not unlike the mass production processes we are familiar with in the auto-industry. It allows us to develop multiple and yet customizable components for Rational Data's i Platform and vehicles used to travel on the Rational Data Network. The system we developed in someways is remeniscent of object based programing but is supported by a different technology. Some of our development kits are based on this same technology, if you are interested in becoming a developer as opposed to having something developed for you we offer a number of alternatives.
